My name is Robert Ham.  I was born and raised in Gibson City, IL.  I am a senior at the University of Illinois, and I am working towards a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education.

My penultimate goal is to obtain a position teaching mathematics at the high school level in a district that would enable me to grow as a teacher and use that growth to help my students reach their full potential.  I want my classroom to be a place students can thrive in and feel as though they can be themselves while fostering a positive learning environment.

I value hard work, honesty, critical thinking, and creativity in my classroom and I firmly feel that the new technologies of today are vital to the success of our students.
